    Seed patents… Putting farmers out of business on a daily basis. AKA, the corporate take over of our food supply.

    Note the Roundup Ready sign on the package. This means the beans have been ‘bred’ to be resistant to Roundup weed killer. A good thing if you’re a farmer, but it turns out that some weeds can create their own resistance. Meaning Roundup doesn’t kill them like it used to. So some farmers are trying even stronger herbicides. I would like to know if this hybrid development is reducing the food-value of the eventual crop. Or making for future unintended consequences. I mean, think of how tasty store-bought tomatoes are… not!
