  1. Leigh says:

    so did you?? :)~

  2. Sarah from CA says:

So what are they saving the dirt and rock for if not for climbing?

  3. Doug Gray says:

Eh-being a state employee I’m going to guess that it’s just that they don’t want the liability if someone gets hurt climbing it-unfortuately we have become such a litigious society that we regulate everything with a thought to being sued.

  4. Sandra says:

    lol Matt

  5. Mary E says:

Doesn’t state property belong to every resident in that state? Then why can I be told to stay off my own property?

  6. Steve says:

Think of it this way! Fragility. So you climb it because that’s what you want to do! It’s yours as you said. But it’s mine too, and I want to marvel at the balance and perhaps sense how the enormity of nature seems to teeter on this particular fulcrum. But when you climbed it, it became massively disfigured and I came along shortly thereafter.
But, then, states being states, it probably is a liability issue and all this is really moot.
There are so many millions of these places and they are there to be found.
    Take a walk!
