It’s so neat and clean in these aerial shots that they both almost look like paintings.

    • Karen Too says:

P.S. It appears that there is a nice little bounty of food/supplies peering out of your cart. Good for you.

Are you still airing out that same pair of socks?

      • Jeff says:

Karen, you read my mind. No sight of the slayers victims…but a bounty of items in das cart! Good Matt. For those days in the future when homes are farther apart on the trail or something.
Confession: The trail looks (from matt’s photo’s) nothing like I even remotely imagined. I need to get out of the city a little more.

  2. Gary says:

maybe some time when walking along the road you could take a picture or two of some small animal, even an insect, crossing the road, you must see that alot

    • Yes, I agree. I too would like to see some animals/wildlife. Certainly you’ve come across something along the way. Keep those photo’s coming Matt! They are awesome!

ps. Did you practice a little climbing here for the mountains ahead on your trek?

      • Alissa says:

Apparently, he can’t take any pictures of wildlife because he’s a modern Medusa and he’s turning them all to stone! LOL (RE: one of his pics from a couple days ago)

with the strange bike photos and then the vantage point of this photo, I wonder if you have stumbled upon an alein abduction site?
The cross walk reminds me of the cover of the Beatles Abbey Road album (?)
And notice how well all the landscape is manicured.

    • Michael in Atlanta says:

I think, starting with the quaking Aspens, you might be on to something, scott mac. Could this be Area 52? THAT’s why all the women are strong, and the kids above average in this Wobegon forsaken place. Aliens (disguised as kind couples and families who “only want to help”). Toyland Slayers. The pieces are falling into place. Matt, unknowingly, was drawn to this trip, only to uncover this secret for the world to see. This is starting to remind of of Lost.

Nah. . . just an awesome walking trip with great photos. Can’t wait til tomorrow!

  4. Candice in Alabama says:

I got a little dizzy looking at this view!
