We are all very impresses with your speed of walking- you crossed the state in record time to us! I hope the next states have smooth trails for you to wheel along on … take care

Congratulations, Matt, on crossing into yet another state. Your trip seems to be whizzing by for those of observing from our computers.

Have a great time in ND, and may you find as many warm, friendly, safe havens there as you’ve found on your trip to date.

No doubt you’ve done your research, but I came across some things online about ND trails. There are even some designed to lead from ND to NY!

Welcome to ND Matt. Congrats on an epic trip. I’ve been living vicariously through your travels. ND is the one state I have never been to and I look forward to your adventure through it. Stay healthy and safe!!

  17. Jeff says:

VICARIOUSLY in all of my 29+++++ years I have never seen this word used. But on this site someone vicariously shows up daily. It is the bonus education for me. Awesome…and this must be a new worlds record for living vicariously.

  18. Mark says:

and i do live vicariously through the adventures of others, so nick isn’t alone in using that word or in being able to have such an adventure! Safe travels to you.

  19. Angelica says:

Hey, you’re getting pretty close to the end! You’ve been walking for what, 2 1/2 months? I’ve always wanted to go to North Dakota…just because it is probably the exact opposite of where I live.

  20. Stephen says:

You’re fortunate that you did not pass through Fargo during this Spring’s Red River flood. But then I suppose you missed an excellent opportunity to ‘walk on the water’.
