And it gets better

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I would have problems like this from day 1 !
My luck the small body of water in the photo would be very, very deep. Hope you feel like doing some puddle stomping!

yes the gators….or try the middle grassy road….ummmm stay out of quicksand though….don’t see much help except maybe a few leaf cutter ants
Love this kind of adventure, never know whats around the “next bend”. I would just walk on thru it and enjoy the slushy mud..
