  3. Well look around you, how many people do you think take the bus? Kind of far from a NYC bus station isn’t it? Reminds me of Mayberry RFD. Tiny little town with old fashioned ways. I bet the garage door over there is their car repair shop. Full service stations are a thing of the past and looks like you’ve walked back in time. How cool is that?.

And on the extreme left an artifact from the last century…a phone booth. Remember how tough it was walking around all day with one of those stuck to your head?

  6. Candice in Alabama says:

We now sell off-sale? What does that mean? Does that old gas pump still work? Is that an Easter Lily? I like this. Did you go inside?

  7. Kevin says:

Awesome old gas station! Im going to replicate it for my model railroad. I follow your journey daily online , I hope to someday take a similar journey.

  8. Kevin from NC says:

This looks like the kind of place those 2 guys from American Pickers would like to visit. I know they’d try to buy the phone booth.

  9. katzien in austin says:

And the year-round Christmas lights are cute!

  10. Laurenis says:

I want to see the place lit up with those christmas lights!

  11. Stephen says:

I see the theft of drain pipes is a growing problem that only a strong chain can solve.
