  1. Karen Too says:

Wow, they must have a serious meth problem there; that’s so sad.

  2. Chaser1 says:

Yes they do. The highest concentration of meth labs, in the nation, are believed to be in this area of montana.

  3. Glenda says:

Nope no serious Meth problem – the youth through out the state were challenged to create ads.

  4. Jeff says:

Meth sucks, Meth kills…it is dangerous to those that make, take, and try to stop it’s production.
Glad to see the problem is “out there”. I would say every town has Meth problem..just not out in the “open”.
    Maybe not town but city.

  5. Barb C. says:

If only the people who try it could see that they can get “high” on life and following Matt. I think meth is a problem no matter where you are and that is so sad. What I don’t understand is why people put a meth lab in the back seat of their car. Unreal.

  6. Nancy says:

It’s interesting how the sign reflects what’s familiar to the population. . . . firearms.

  7. Don in Tennessee says:

Meth is Russian Roulette. This stuff is nasty and will make a 20 year old look like they are 40 or 50 in no time. I do not understand the point. But I guess us babies from the 50’s are weird!

    Oh! Time for a Yuengling!

Hope we can do something to keep people of of Meth!

  8. Sven says:

Alcoholism is also a huge problem on the great plains.

  9. Zimmer says:

Montana is ranked #2 for issues with meth. Follow link….http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/meth/map/textonly.html
Thay have some real problems across the state.
    Please be real careful.

  10. Joel H says:

    DON’T DO METH

  11. Cara says:

our town had ‘Don’t Meth-around’ and ‘Bait cars everywhere’ banners hanging from the ‘welcome to’ sign a few years back…stupid. I think they quickly realized how stupid it looked and they were promptly taken down. We are the gateway to Whistler BC and I’m sure the Olympic committee didn’t care too much for the negative campaign. tee hee.

  12. Jim in Oregon says:

A great comparison, and accurate too. It makes me think of the anti-drug ad that showed an egg being fried in an overheated pan. The message was, “This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs.” Remember it? Most people do.

  13. Or a gun not or gone says:

Unfortunately, Matt has entered Meth Country which is pretty much every mid-size town and smaller across the western states. I’m from east of Los Angeles and it’s out there, not so much in the city though. I’m in Portland, Oregon now and it’s around here too.

  14. Jim Davidson says:

Matt, I’m still following your progress. I enjoy the comments and observations you make along your way. God speed. And remember, many folks like me are living your dream vicariously. Jim from Kansas
