  1. Marshall in RVA says:

    I Win again.

  2. Lori says:

    Matt wins…. he’s the one walking along the Clark Fork River in Montana… ;-}

    • Stephen says:

I have to agree Lori. These photos and the stories attached to each one are truly priceless. What an experience, both for Matt and all of the fans walking vicariously with him.

  3. Donna in Texas says:

Beautiful Matt! Congrats Marshall! I got to be first a couple of weeks ago, can’t seem to make it again. LOL

  4. Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

I want the Island in the middle! That is an island isn’t it? And there’s those rails again Matt. Are you sure you’re not cheating? ha ha. What a beautiful ride that must be through the mountains on the rails. I’m afraid of tunnels though so I probably wouldn’t like the ride as I would imagine they have to go through one at some point.
Finally, WOW, this does look like Paradise. It’s just so beautiful.

    • Christine says:

I hate the tunnel in Baltimore.

    • Yeosaph Ferguson says:

Most of the tracks are sadly abandoned, hence the osprey and her nest on the train bridge trestles in a recent photo.

      • Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

I was wondering about that. I thought to myself it would be awful hard to rest there with trains coming along the tracks. That would explain it. Thanks.

    • Melody in Oklahoma says:

Now I know where I want to go on vacation next summer – Montana!! It is too hot in Oklahoma. Monday we had heat index of 107 which is miserable for someone like me who hates to go outside when it’s over 85 degrees. Why of why did I leave Nashville, TN (lived there 1996-1999) and come back to Oklahoma? Oh, yeah, family. But everyone has died but my sister, daugther and I in the immediate family. I may retire to a northern state. Montana has been my favorite state on Matt’s trip so far.

  5. Yeosaph Ferguson says:

How’s the fishing, Dude? Last time I passed through Western Montana and Idaho this time of year the riverbanks were crawling with fisherpeople.

  6. Gigi says:

    Pretty as a picture :-)

  7. J E F F says:

Now that makes sense on how a osprey came to nest on a train trestle bridge…

  8. Janine says:

    More desktop wallpaper!

  9. Vivian in CA says:

I love the colors in the water :)
