Day -1

By the way…

December 30th, 2011

You may have missed the final post I wrote about my walk across the US. These are my thoughts one year after the completion of that trip. You know, just to keep you occupied before I start my New York walk.

  3. Yea! I’m excited to follow your next adventure :-) I was just near Rockaway Beach, Oregon over the holidays & wondered what you’d do next!

What a great undertaking. I’m curious to know what provisions, if any, you’ll be carrying with you. Will you be using your cart?

Fantastic! Looking forward to another adventure, vicariously through you, of course.

I didn’t miss it the first time around and have thought about what you said many times, especially when I’m feeling blue about the nature of our society. Thanks for the reminder… I’m headed over to read it again. I’ve often thought if I got sick and had to stay down for a week or so, I’d use the time to re-read your entire cross-continent journey. Almost makes me want to get sick…

May your first day be a good new beginning!

Thanks for the handy link to that page, Matt. Noticed it on the first page here, too.

It’s been in my bookmarks since you posted it last August, and I enjoyed reading it, thinking about what you wrote.

It is inspiring, and uplifting to hear good news about our world, especially since it’s most often the bad news, the fearful news, etc. that is the fodder of news stories today.
