I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city. Details!

We recycled our tree last weekend with the boy scouts…they’d pick up the tree from our curbside and take it for mulching. We walked by a neighbors house later that day, who had a load of the mulch in his driveway and it smelled so good! It was even steaming, which I wasn’t sure about, but I’m sure it was OK (-;
Us too here in Vancouver, WA! I wholeheartedly support the Boy Scouts and this great service they do in the community here. The mulching areas definitely smell amazing. We need more of that natural smell in this world.
This is the closest picture I saw how Christmas tree being chipped. It is sad to see this long tradition is struggling to pass through from our generation. How the real tree now cost less than plastic tree!
