I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to my
walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend
a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled about 8000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Thanks so much to everyone who has donated! I now have enough funds to keep walking through the end of 2012 and a few months into 2013. I don't want to get ahead of myself, so I'm removing the donation button until I start to run low again. Gotta stay hungry!
Interesting. Wonder about the Ethiopian eunuch mentioned in Acts who was a perhaps a Jewish proselyte…”who had come to Jerusalem to worship”
Complete with razor wire to keep the devil out, I see.
Learn something new everyday. I’ve never heard of a black Jew. Guess I just thought they were all white, in black, long curl sideburns and black hats. Not to be confused with Amish ya know.
I have had the pleasure of being in this shul a few years ago and have met some of the congrgants. It ia a wonderful place to daven , services start at about 10 a.m. I am sure that any jewish person would be welcome and feel comfortable. You should be aware that the service is sefardic. Your participation will help keep this wonderful shul in existance for many generations to come.
