over the 1895 Macombs Dam Bridge. This railing was made by Brooklyn's Hecla Iron Works.

    Hecla produced wonderful wrought iron. Both of my great grandfathers on my father’s side, Swedish immigrants who settled in Greenpoint in the late 1800’s, worked at Hecla.
