Billiou-Stillwell-Perine House

The original portion of this house (the steep-roofed section at center), built around 1662-63, is said to be the oldest remaining structure on Staten Island.

    Is it a museum now? Gorgeous old place!

      It’s not a museum currently, although I’ve read that part of the house is open to the public on a limited basis. The idea is to eventually turn it into a museum if enough money can be raised to restore it.

    My great grandfather was a Perine, he was the last child to grow up in the house.
