They must have imported these exotic trees from outer space.

    I have been looking over your photos & admire your sense of adventure! You are living the life my friend! Good luck carry on… I can not believe these trees are still alive after being painted! WOW! Must be a special paint as to not harm the trees! Walk on.

    These are painted to add art to the park for the summer. These trees are to be cut down in the Fall by the Park District. I saw a story about it on the news in Chicago. Love the blog. I hope to go on an adventure someday.

    I remember being here one day … but there trees were not painted. There was some kinda “thing” or “Festival” going on there… I was fresh off the bus and some girl gave me an Orange with a Smile face on it…
    man I’m I glad I didn’t take the blue pill now.

    Shame about the trees being cut down. Let’s hope some new ones will be planted in their stead.
