I’d like to build a house here.

Right?!?!? I totally agree Michael. How amazing would that be to wake up to every day? I bet it is even more beautiful as the seasons change…I mean, imagine how it is in Autumn (although some would argue being all covered in snow for a good portion of the year isn’t so beautiful after a while).

  2. Sue says:

Wow… breath taking! Your travel blog is awesome, thanks for sharing your adventure.

    • young says:

Sue – Matt’s travel is indeed awesome, but your life reads like an unpredictable adventure in itself! The stuffed squash flowers recipe looks delicious…yum! Will try to find ingredients this weekend for a dinner party “wow” dish. Much thanks!

  3. Candice In Alabama says:

    Beautiful Matt!

  4. Illona says:

Thanks Matt on how small the world really is… but how eye opening the OPEN spaces really are.
I know people that have never even left this po-dunk town for day…
This shows them.. there is more out there to see. (even well educated people)
    Peace BRO.

  6. Angelica says:

Wow, so beautiful! If I was there I would go running down into that valley while singing loudly & badly and then roll around in the grass for a while.

  7. Donna says:

I could look at that all day. Beautiful!!!

  8. John in MI says:

I can easily imagine Monet with an easel set up at this exact spot.

  9. Kevin from NC says:

Wow “The hills are alive……”no wait, that’s Julie Andrews. This makes me think of The Sound of Music,

  10. Michelle says:

I went to Montana on a Greyhound (that’s an experience in itself) but it really showed me how big this country is. And when I saw the Rockies I thought…I’m just about there”. HA…they were so far away, but that’s Big Sky country for you.
    Peace, from Michelle in Providence

  11. Gigi says:

This would probably look awesome in any season.

  12. Don in Tennessee says:

    Majestic and beautiful.

    Michael in Atlanta –

I agree that I would like to have a home with this view but I would not want to see this natural beauty disturbed!

Matt – you could be a photograher!!!

Thanks again for sharing with the HOBO NATION!

  13. Katie says:

Stunning…absolutely beautiful. Instead of building houses how about just tents and yurts, no electricity (just living off the grid), no cars, swimming in the river, growing your own food, cooking with fire and listening to natures orchestra. Matt, you take awesome photos.

  14. Janine says:

You’re making it very hard for me to be choosy about which pictures I steal for my desktop wallpaper.
