The Cable Bridge. Welcome to Kennewick!

  2. Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

Oh beautiful. These bridges are so cool looking I love them. And the water is so blue, clear skies, what an awesome day. Are those train tracks again I see at the bottom of this pic?

  3. Lisa Downing says:

    Is Matt ahead of schedule?

  4. Sandy says:

Yes they are train tracks. The main line is east of the bridge.

    • Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

Thanks Sandy. It’s a joke from way back in the blog. I believe it was Matt’s brother Jonathan that I first noticed kept trying to get Matt to hop the rails and ride em to his destination. And all along his walk there have been train tracks. So I keep teasing about it that he must be cheating riding the rails and making it look like he’s walking. That’s how he’s making such good time! lol.

  5. Jeff says:

walk please…no jumping……Pay the ferryman…..or is this ferry less….I assume.

  6. Candice in Alabama says:

I’m loving this image. Beautiful bridge, water and sky.

    • Candice in Alabama says:

On flickr zoom, at the right, it looks like a frog holding up a small yellow sign. I know, I know, it’s railroad related.

      • Dorinda from Mentor, Oh. says:

Looks like a little tiny miniature man holding up that little yellow track marker. Looks like that toy soldier to me from this shot it’s so small. he he.

  7. Ann says:

Beautiful Matt, you are almost there. I’m happy you were safe through the trip. It has been an awesome trip following you and thank you for letting us be a part of it. I will surely miss coming on here and checking it out.

  8. Jeannie from Day 12 says:

Matt, you made it to mine and Norb’s last home before we moved back to Pennsylvania. I worked in Kennewick and we lived in Richland.
