    I’m unclear on one point. How do you go about washing one hand? I always thought it was important to rub one hand against the other one (while using soap and water) to achieve clean hands. Seems a bit like…:what is the sound of one hand clapping…”.

    I found the links very informative. Although I’m no longer religious in any way (raised protestant then mormon) I do understand why religions have rituals & find it a fascinating aspect of our cultural diversity. Thanks.
