A giant inflatable census

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

These early posts feel so lonely. Where are the legions of commenters??
It’s been 2 days since Matt last posted (he’s probably in another dead zone) and I’m going over the pics and comments again. When I first went over the site from the beginning I just enjoyed the pics and comments posted but along the way when more people started to comment and checking in on the site became a daily habit that was when I started to post. Hopefully, many will come back to the older pics and post a comment or two.
Is the inflatable census still up?
Hey ladies! Looks like we’re all together now on the last day, Day 152, August 25th. Matt is just about an hour or so away from Rockaway! I’m so anxious!
