The south pedestrian path on the GW Bridge has zero stairs. The north path, apparently now the only one open, has twelve flights of stairs. Not much fun with a big cart on a rainy day.
I’m curious how many experiences like this you’ll have. Being bound to your cart will probably make you hyper-conscious of ADA compliance (with the luxury of non-compliance only slowing, instead of impeding, your progress).
Hey! You can walk for ADA Compliance Awareness!
(Great shot. It’s a shame that sloppy chain link fencing is a default architectural unit.)
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
I don’t believe you. That totally fits into Matt’s definition of “fun”.
I think a “We WILL NEVER meet again” would be more appropriate for sites like this. Sally forth!
Go, Matt, go! Are you allowed to ride the cart on downhill stretches?
You are a stair master!

I hear that most of the midwest is flat – so you have that to look forward to!
