Friends of my friend Anna, they had me on a rigid and strenuous schedule from the moment I arrived: beer, dinner, dessert, hot tub, beer, sleep, breakfast. Good thing I'm tough enough to withstand all that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I really must get back to eating the enormous feast they packed me for the road.

Wow, what wonderful people!! Everyone is so kind and I love their sign. Too cute!
Where do I go to enlist?
Love the sign, too. I think you might now have to start an “Awesome Birdhouse” list, too, starting with that tree of bird townhouses from earlier in your trek.
Another night of roughing it aye Matt? Nice Telephone pole sign. I second the Awesome birdhouse list…What ya thinK, you in? After all you got the awesome walk to do it???
Sooooo Matt…are you losing weight or gaining weight on this odyssey? LOL
ummmmmm I was thinking that same thing…but was afraid to ask. But at least he is able to break bread and have companionship along the way. He can always workout when he gets home….(like your not burning a couple hundred thousand calories a day). Peace
I think I want to walk now just to visit the Repkes. And all that green, open space.
we missed you tonight matt.. hope you are someplace comfortable and dry.
I hope you recover from boot camp, Matt!
I’M thoroughly enjoying YOUR journey ;)
Happy Trails
About the telephone pole, for some reason my dad used to collect those insulators at the top; they are now sitting on the railing of my place in Greenbrae, CA…
Matt, I am now retired but know your Dad well. This is a great adventure. I just got the blog site but will keep up with your travels.
