Anyone in the market for a used ambulance?

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I read an article once of an astronomer who converted an old ambulance into a moving observatory, complete with telescope.
And look you’re near the State Hospital for the Criminally Insane Cemetery! It is true you picked the best time of year to come to Minnesota. Late spring into early summer *almost* makes up for the long, Bergman-esque dark nights we call winter.
I bet they make a good camping RV. Can you imagine the looks on peoples faces when you pull into your camping spot with one of these? Wonder how much they want for them? Do they come with their own ghosts to?
I’ve been looking for something to drive across the country in, that may work!
In the small-town Oh town that my mom lives in this guy bought an old ambulance and uses it for a pizza delivery truck. Yes, a pizza delivery truck. He also owns a bait shop…go figure.
