I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

When you click on “Upcoming Events” on the site, it says “Patio is Open.” I don’t know why, but that struck me as funny.
I might have sprung for an extra “A,” and named it “Package Palace,” provided I’d have given it this name in the first place.
Chubs is a bar/liquor store. The smoking ban just went through in Fargo last year or so, so the patio is for smoking. Open in the summer months. :)

On their site they have a link for “Where have you been pictures” to be sent in. You should send some of your pics in. I bet it would blow their minds! They’ve probably never seen anything like it.

That’s a great picture. I remember being an underage undergrad at NDSU and having a friend of a friend drive to Chub’s and buy us beer. It was a terrible place to buy beer.
I think I’m a little afraid.
