yea that would be fun. mail in the top one….only when the walk is not shoveled for the mailman. Leave his tips up there too….Airmail…I am laughing with you on that one too.
For me this one ties closely with Awesome mail box #2. On April 4, you saw the mailbox strapped to a step ladder, with bungee cords, sitting on a crate with some rocks! That one made me laugh out loud, this one makes me giggle.
It might be for when the snow crew piles up the snow along the road. My daughter lives in Fargo and when she came back to N.E Ohio for xmas and returned to Fargo in Jan. her car had 4ft of snow on it… How about the kids that play mailbox baseball trying to get these..
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
That’s the awesome-ist mailbox YET!
Is the top one for “air mail” ?
I love this guys sense of humor!
Ottery? What does the sign on the bottom one have written on it? Too funny.
It looks like the left end of the “ottery” sign is broken off. It probably should read “pottery.”
Lottery?
if i was there i would be so tempted to pull a prank and make it look like there’s a mail on the top most mailbox… ^^

Now I can understand why so many North Dakota mailmen are recruited by the NBA.

Mail gets delivered no matter how much snow is on the ground.
