Speaking of beautiful stinky flowers – Here in Alabama, Bradford Pear Trees are popular for the their beautiful white flower show in the Spring. I just can’t stand to be too close to one, though. I find the “smell” from the flowers to be awful.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Spectacular photo #???. Gorgeous.
Splendor in the grass….I mean the perty yeller flowers. ;-)
another day of photo’s not loading. either I’ve been caught slackin at work…or just a glitch. Root for a glitch, ok?
Okay.
The flowers make it. If it was just a green field, it just wouldn’t be the same. Love the flowers.
And I believe the perty flowers might actually be sweet clover which is used to feed farm animals ~ primarily cattle.
Actually its canola, and it stinks when its in bloom, He needs to find a flax field in the morning, the flowers are blue.
I find that amazing, that something that looks so pretty, can be so stinky. It’s like it goes against the laws of the senses or something!

What a great shot.
