Awesome (used to be a?) mailbox #31

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Matt you could make a book of just mailboxes alone! “Mailboxes of America” or something like that.
Note the smashed new ones…. sigh.. maybe why they moved them?
You know, it’s cruel to keep your iron framework cow chained up outside like that.
Maybe this makes it easier to find their house when they give directions to someone. “You know you’ve reached it when you see the cast iron cow outline. Just look for it by the mailbox.”
