The largest road bubble I’ve seen so far

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

The “road bubbles” in front of my house here in Phoenix are soooo big they’ve been known to stop the postman.

It’s the tar on the road that gets so hot it bubbles up.

Not sure I see the reflection…see the eye too. Funny on background at first sight I said cool…Gem. when i finaly got to page…I said…Oh…tar bubble. Little let down….but alot of fun to pop.

Although I have never posted before, I have been following Matt and everyones comments for the past couple of months and look forward to new pictures and posts every day. I’ll probably be posting again now and then.
This picture reminds me of the eye on the witches book in the Halloween movie with Bett Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker. I can’t remember the name of the movie right now (senior moment), but it sure looks like it. it is a great family movie by the way.
