Matt you are officialy blocked by watchguard on my computer. I can read but can not see. Work wins this round.
I see you are approaching Cleveland. Glad it is not ohio?
By the length of the grass, looks like it’s been closed a while. Luckily a passing view rather than another pedestrian challenge. Glad the skies are blue for you.
I vote for a book too! It would be cool if you sent one to each family who hosted you. It does look lonely out there. Haven’t heard much about ND families. Have you been staying on their properties or out on your own? Can’t believe how far you’ve gone. Just amazing. Be safe…
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
At least this time they posted a warning sign. Thank God for small miracles.
I love how FAR DOWN they post the “road closed” sign! Hope the rest of your roads are much more passable!

Hey!! Is that a dig on Cleveland Ohio? Or just that he’s glad he isn’t still in Ohio and that he is farther on in a good way?
Ummm, that’s a road?? But it sure is secluded out there. Are you getting lonely?
This is obviously a “Here’s your sign….” moment. LOL
I guess sometimes the road is less traveled for a reason.
AGAIN, I CANT WAIT TO SEE THIS IN A BOOK.
I agree Kim… I want this book….

Just wanted to update you…..GOAL!!!!!
Do you have room for a inflatable raft on that cart of yours it might be a useful item…lol

That this even required a sign is hilarious. Perhaps you could float across using your new sleeping pad as a raft.
I’ve never seen a GRASS ROAD with official signs – before your blog!
In California we seem to like to cover our roads with asphalt.
I believe National Geographic named Nevada’s Highway 50 as the lonesomest highway(road) in the USA. I think they overlooked this road.
Oops – apparently it was LIFE magazine, not NG. But I know I saw something about Nevada’s Highway 50 in NG at sometime.
YIKES! I just Google Earthed your location. You should go fishin, man! Or Swimming.
wow, no road I can see.
