I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I think this is a Buick from the early 1950s. I remember these from my early childhood.

60 years old and the bumper still looks good.
It’s a beauty. I warn you, when you get to Montana you will see countless vintage pickups in various states of decay… I cried from one end of that state to the other and on into Idaho.

Okay – It just looks so amazingly “undented”. But it could use a paint job.
It’s a 1950 Buick Sedanette with a Dynaflow transmission. First Buick with a 1 piece windshield!

It looks better than the Camaro in the corner of the photo! Sounds like Art is a “Car Guy”. I love old cars, sometime the bigger the better.
