Another palimpsest!

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I’m all for sensible re-cycling but this is a little bit ridiculous. However if it keeps my taxes low then I’ll perhaps reconsider! :)
Yes, watch for them, but only in the direction of the arrow. It’s hard to tell, but I think the arrow is pointing away from the road which, if true, would make it even funnier.
Watch for the kids behind you and to the right.
By the way, palimpsest is the word of the day!
Did you really have that word in your vocabulary? How come?

I don’t think this is technically palimpsest. It looks like the arrow was just painted over, not scraped away and the yellow is just fading away…
