Someday you will have the best stories to tell your kids and grandkids about the fantastic people you met on your walk across America. You must write a book about your journey. Have a fantastic day.
Love bull dogs!!
I just found your site the other day, I love your journey! I did the backpacking thing from one side of Europe to the other it took me 2 years I had so much fun! I was younger then….and the net was not so available as it is now, if it was I would of loved to have a blog like this one! I have some stories to tell. A single gal…and a back pack and Europe…. Humm yes I had some fun!!! Good luck to you happy travels stay safe let loose have some fun! (you seem a bit more straight laced than I was) LOL
Hoy por la manana me di cuenta del viaje que estas realizando y creo que estas cumpliendo de deseo de cientos de personas que nos gustaria salir y caminar, yo tambien hay dias que solo quiero caminar y me parece fabuloso que haces., suerte!!!
Gracias Fernando! I did a google translation of your comment: “This morning I realized that those making the trip and I think these fulfilling desire of hundreds of people we would like to get out and walk, there are also days that I just want to walk and I think it’s great that you do., Luck!” You get the main idea. ;-)
As the proud Mom and Dad of this bulldog we are so excited to not only read about and follow your journey but to also see that Jameson made the site. We’re also happy you came through two of our favorite towns…Lake City and Red Wing. Continued Good Luck to you!
Jameson looks like a grown up version of my English bulldog VINCE! Scary since Vince is only 9 weeks old now and LOVES the lap! Nice to see your updates. Look at all the folks you’re meeting and experiences you are having!
You are so amazing for embarking on such a fabulous, but challenging journey. It takes a lot to step out of the norm and do something like this. Keep setting that example and lots of safe travels!!
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Jameson doesn’t look like a guy who shares food naturally- was really nice of him!
Did the dog give you food or money? Granted, both acts would be pretty awesome coming from a dog, but dog food would kinda suck though.
MATTTT! OMG. Why did you not borrow the bulldog for me??? NOT COOL, man. :-)
i’m in love with jameson.
I love that little doggy!
Awesome pic man!!!!!
Aw, cutie patootie doggy :) You took the pic at just the right time, that tongue is priceless.
Happy June 1st!! Have a great day:)

Just discovered your journey. This is epic, and I am inspired to do something similar when I travel to East Asia. Happy walking!

Priceless photo, and congrats on the start of fourth calendar month on the road (I’m including March).
