Day 74
Meandering
June 8th, 2010
I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Although I’m not alone — my dog Lucie is snoozing next to me — I saw this picture and said out loud “Oh wow, look at that.” Just incredible and fodder for day dreaming. Thank you so much Matt for “taking all of us” on this wonderful journey with you. While I’m thinking about it, I hope your Ohio “families” are all ok after the tornadoes. Be safe, see ya tomorrow…

I love seeing meandering streams the way they were meant to be…before someone decides to channelize and levee the thing to avoid flooding the neighboring land. This is just beautiful!
