That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Once again…your Droid and you have taken a wonderful textbook shot. PS..this could be the book cover shot for sure…..until rockaway beach..it is a never ending road….alot shorter if you hop the next train ya know.
Classic shot. Very nice.

If you’re nice, come on out! We’ll take you. Although I will warn you, he’s walking through in the summertime. This same walk in January would be quite different. :-)
wow-talk about perfection of lines on this photo!
The title seems like an old country-western song title! lol
“The Road Goes on Forever” is the title of the Allman Brothers first compilation album from 1975. That is also a lyric from their song “Midnight Rider”. The second verse is:
“And I don’t own the clothes I’m wearing,
And the road goes on forever,
And I’ve got one more silver dollar,
But I’m not gonna let ’em catch me, no
Not gonna let ’em catch the Midnight Rider.”
and forever’s where we’re goin…..
“Looks like we’re shy one horse.”
“You brought two too many.”
