I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.

details of my trip

Here's my progress so far:
If only they could talk. Or is it that we just don’t listen?
I see a 40’s Pontiac (?) and a same generation Chevy (?) pick up.
Glenn Miller on a single speaker AM radio. Sharing a six pack of beer w/o warning labels or pop tops.
2 old army buddies, talking about WWII, “the war to end all wars”
I’m amazed at the condition of these vehicles.
I clearly need to stop watching Cars. I was waiting for this picture to start talking. ;) I like the above commenter’s idea though b/c that’s very similar to what I thought.
Oh my goodness, me too!! I saw these and thought, “I wonder what those two are talking about to each other…” LOL!
I thought of the movie, “Cars” immediately too! lol I want to see the animated eyes!
ugh! i want that truck (but i would hate to seperate those 2 old friends)! lol awesome pic!
I agree… that picture took me right back to another decade… I can almost see Sonny Corleone stepping out into the street….. :)
That looks like a ’49 or ’50 Chevy Pickup… :)
a couple of old buddies, hangin’ out and reminiscing… I’ll bet there are some great old stories these two could tell
I can smell ’em. Just like my grandpa. How I LOVED to ride in his pickup. Looked just like old Chevy here.
It’s a 1946 De Soto coupe on the left. Very desirable for a hot rod.
