Is that a car down there???…if it is it looks like a 1946 Plymouth…one like my Grandpa and Grandma had…the without clothes person???…laying on the hood???…you must have got your binocs out to see that far…so from this perspective, clothes on or not, doesn’t really matter!!!…but the view of the Columbia Gorge (I assume) is beautiful…
If the nayked person is in the water and not floating on their belly so you can eye the lilly white cheeks then how did you know they were nayked? Were you snorking or what. Be honest-Matt.
Yes I know how to spell naked but in certain parts of this vast country some pronouce it naked and some pronouce it nayked.
hehe where the car is there is a man sitting in a lawn chair next to it on the other side of the vehicle is a person naked putting there clothes on it appears!
Look at the right back corner of the car there’s a person standing there. If you look at the pic in flickr you can see the person better. I think that’s the naked person ha ha
I looks like a guy putting on his pants/jeans to me so hit rear is almost facing Matt. I guess he didn’t see Matt on the hill when he got out of the water LOL.
And see I thought there is a naked person laying down with their knees up just off to the top left of the person sitting in their chair to the left of the car. It’s hard to tell even on super zoom on flickr but I think for me that might be it.
So, you’re standing in Washington looking over at Oregon? How does that make you feel? I bet excited that you are so near now.
This is a very pretty scene and I can see why you have to walk on the Washington state side. Those rocks-hills-formations look pretty solid.
I saw this title on the first, and went back and started from the last photo I looked at , I guess the caption was in my mind but when I saw this http://imjustwalkin.com/2010/08/13/there-they-are-again/ photo of matt’s i thought the dot in the middle could have been a naked person. Or maybe the “there they are again” caption was matt’s prediction on naked people ?
I couldn’t find a naked person, so I thought maybe Matt’s finger made a cameo in the picture again, making him the naked person, but I don’t see that either. Regardless, his caption is making us all look, isn’t it? Ha-ha!
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
The views here just get better, and better (and I’m not talking about the naked person part, hee hee).
There are your friendly train tracks, too.
I guess you know I’m going to have to LOOK!
Aside from the naked person (which I THINK I might SEE….maybe), the view is beautiful!

Jim! I just checked out your link. Belated Happy 47th Wedding Anniversary to you and Judie! I’m listening to Johnny & June!
the naked person is you! ?
That must have been an interesting sight ;-)
First off this is called skinny dipping-

If you use both you are biligual-so be happy!
And here all along I thought “naked” was just without clothes and “nekid” was with INTENT! lol silly me!!!
Long a with consonant and then a vowel, so pronounce nay-ked, I guess, but do hear the nekid in some parts of the country.
And others pronounce it nekked.
If you look off to the right of where the car is there is a small white dot in the water==could this be the naked person?????
or a spec of dust on matt’s lense??
It looks like a buoy.

Well, I heard on the news about the heat wave in that area of the country… so skinny dipping is one way to beat the heat!

It’s not skinny dipping, it’s chunky dunking.
Nope, couldn’t see the naked person. Too pixelated. Darn!
I love the natural beauty in this photo…in all it’s varieties. heehee
Believe what you wanna believe Matt. All this walking along rail lines… I think you’re getting a ‘one track mind’.
