The Laughing Planet is good stuff! Glad Matt was able to enjoy some yummy burrito-ness. :) Thanks to Lindsay & Patrick for helping out the Chief Hobo! :)
Thanks Lindsay for inviting Matt over, and Patrick (in LA) for buying Matt a burrito lunch. I’m sure it was delish! and very much appreciated. I think Matt is enjoying his time in Portland. What a beautiful city!
Now I think that is a first on this trip…long distance bought lunch…that’s great…write that one down…it may have happened before…but I think this may be a first…way to go Lindsay and Patrick…LA to Portland…way to go…
Wow Patrick, I clicked your link and being a movie buff, I’m going to try and read your take on movie sequels! At least read it before relegating the link to my “AsTimePermits” folder!
Thanks to Lindsey and Patrick for entertaining and feeding Matt. Does the Laughing Planet Cafe serve Laughing Cow Cheese? – Yummy. The Laughing Planet Cafe may have become the offical cafe of the Matt Green Hobo Planet.
Matt! Thanks for coming in to visit me at Laughing Planet! I screamed when he pulled up with his stroller! It was so loud, he heard me outside the doors! A little embarrassing. But He had a bad ass vegetarian burrito, chips and medium chipotle salsa, and a blackberry lemonade… and a hug, picture, and conversation from me! He’s the sweetest guy!! Good luck with the rest of your trip, Matt! It was great to meet you!
PS. I’ll talk to my boss about changing the name! haha!!
PSS. Thanks for all the cheers you guys, it was my pleasure to feed and meet him! Thanks to Patrick for informing me about Matt’s great adventure! And thanks to the few of you who think i’m a cutie… a little boost in the ‘ol self esteem is never a bad thing! Cheers!
You’re a riot Lindsay! I would scream if I saw Matt too. At this point, I feel like I know him, but he’d go “who is this crazy gal hugging me??” Ba ha ha ha!
Hey Matt, great to meet you here the other day. What a coincidence to run into you! Thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us office warriors. Take care along the way.
Dayum, I’m from L.A. and now live in Portland…I need to eat one of these burritos. I also walk a lot, but not 3000+ miles in 150-something days. A little food, water, shelter, and good folks will take you quite a ways.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Ah…Lindsay is adorable. Gratitude and good wishes are coming your way, and Patrick’s way, from throughout the Hobo Nation.
Why does the girl on the right have a jalepeno hanging from her ear?
It’s a spike that’s actually going through her ear.
Dang! I’d rather have the jalapeno! Don’t these kids know what these holes and tats will look like in 30 years??? To each his own…
Well, it’s a fun story for their grandkids!
