It is widely known that Idiotville is a ghost town. What is not widely known is why. Well, in a nutshell, it was decided way back when that it was not fair for one small location to have a monopoly of idiots. So they decided to disperse and propogate, and thus was created the “Village Idiot”. So instead of all the idiots living in one local, there is now only one allowed per community. So can everyone now understand why for 8 years, Crawford, Texas did not have theirs?
Matt, Thank you so much for sharing. I’m sure there have been many unforeseen pros and cons from all the attention but I for one am so grateful you’ve let us walk along. You’ve been an encouragement to me and my own determined wanderer. I am continually impressed by the support of those closest to you throughout your journey. Roger, Jeff, Jason, Barb and all others. As well as those who have taken you in and cheered you on here and along the way. All this combined positive energy and collective goodwill lightens my heart and my hopes. Good for you. Thanks again.
Brian: Please, please, please listen! I’ve got one or two things to say.
The Crowd: Tell us! Tell us both of them!
Brian: Look, you’ve got it all wrong! You don’t NEED to follow ME, You don’t NEED to follow ANYBODY! You’ve got to think for yourselves! You’re ALL individuals!
The Crowd: Yes! We’re all individuals!
Brian: You’re all different!
The Crowd: Yes, we ARE all different!
Man in crowd: I’m not…
The Crowd: Sch!
Okay, so if it’s so remote no one lives there, who put this there? and why? This place looks to be so remote I can understand how it got it’s name. Thanks Matt for satisfying many a hobo nuts curiosity with this pic. Now if we can only find Brian…..
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
OOOH, just when I thought we were done for the night, more pics!
Craig in NC, where were you?

Won’t be long now! Have a good night’s rest, Matt!
No road signs, so they made their own. Wouldn’t it have been awesome if the paper plate said “Matt”
That would have been E-P-I-C! :)
It does say Matt……we all looked at it and it said Matt…..sorry brian……

Maybe there was a group camping around here and they left the plate so Brian would know where?
Oh Matt! I’m so excited for you! Following the last days, makes me want to GO SOMEWHERE!
Why is it the former community of Idiotville? They can’t have run out of idiots.
