The last-mile crew!
August 25th, 2010
I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

That is a FANTASTIC picture!! Thank you so much to all of you (the final mile crew) for sharing Matt with us for a while. There have been a great many moments experienced not only on the trek Matt went on…but also here on this site. It’s definitely worth going back and seeing the community that has built up because one person decided to take a trip. It’s all very amazing and again I thank you!!

SO Happy for you Matt. It was a pleasure watching your journey [and meeting you]. This is alittle bittersweet, though. You made it safe and sound and now you can put your feet up! But I’m going to miss looking at this country thru your eyes and it was beautiful! I’m kinda sad it’s over, but happy for you.
