I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
you kept walking while sailing I assume…
Really. Somehow being on the ferry doesn’t seem right but I guess if you kept walking around you’re good.
Not very many people on the ferry that night? Must have all been in Times Square for the ball drop.
Not the ferry I remember from 1967, when I rode it last,
yellow and red plastic replacing wood and brass.
Wonder if 40-50 years from now
today’s kids will fondly recall yellow and red plastic
while crossing in three nanoseconds,
transported in a stainless steel bubble?
Are the chairs new? Last time I rode the ferry, about 3 years ago, the chairs didn’t look like this too.
been some accidents. so depending on what ship he was on…some have had alot of replacements. Kind of cool though, right, red and yellow plastic.
The ferries here in the Pac NW look a little like this. We took a ferry from Anacortes to the San Juan Islands. It was the first time I’d been on a ferry since I lived in NY (probably about 25 years) so it was an interesting ride.
It looks like a Taco Bell.
