Safety City

I first learned about the DOT's Safety City program a few years ago when I stumbled onto Staten Island's Safety City Boulevard, a simulated city street with intersections at Bicycle Helmet Road, Buckle Up Drive, and Stop Look Listen Lane.

There’s also one in Eisenhower Park (Nassau) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safety_Town#New_York

I'm walking every street in New York City.

This is the counterpoint to my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place.
