I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
I felt a pressing need to know what flag had been cut out (because that’s the kind of thing I get obsessed with when I have more important things to do), and I couldn’t figure it out from the tiny bit remaining, so I resorted to scouting the street on Streetview. I found it (Dominican Republic), but the more interesting thing is that the sign is not in its original location. So now I’m imagining some great interbarber drama, a business partnership dissolved, the Dominican yelling “it’s *my* name on the lease, so *you* have to get out!”, the Trinidadian retorting “well my nephew made that sign, so I’m taking it with me! And that’s my jar of combs floating in blue stuff too!”
Oh man, excellent detective work! I’m amazed you found the original place two blocks away. I had no idea.
