I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the
details of my trip

Here's my progress so far:
They are very serious about Arbor Day, which is not a bad thing at all. We can always use more trees.

Bismarck ahead….just keep walking, just keep walking, (finding nemo throwout).
Tree and mountain adoption for North Dakota bring it on.
“And we’re walking and we’re walking…and we’re stopping.” (throwback to “Dave” during a public White House tour). Yes Karen too, we definitely do always need more trees.
Ralph Kramden; “And you know there is another very fine benefit that comes from being Racoon of the year and we BOTH share in this…free burial in the Racoon national cemetary…and do you know where the Racoon national cemetary is…BISMARCK, NORTH DAKOTA!”
Tom are you for real there is a Racoon National Cemetary? Wonder why Matt didn’t find it?
Yup, ’round here we name all our trees.
