I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Maybe before her contribution to the water system they just had wells? In which case, she definitely deserves her recognition. Now THAT’S every woman’s dream…recognition for her efforts.

Sounds like Evelyn gave a lot of money to this tiny village … good for her! The pipe is used to fill water trucks.
How neat the local folks honored her in this way.
My first thought was that it was a super nice porta pottie. Methinks it’s just a nice little water system shack, though.
Reminds me of California where they name their rest stops after people. Is that really an honor? ;)

Hey, this woman gets it! Sarcasm & I get along well. Great that the City of Glen Ullin recognized her contribution, but some beautiful flowering bushes or garden planted in that dirt along the edge would have made for a much nicer memorial. They obviously have the water supply to take care of it.
Well, if you can’t have a sandwich named after you, I guess that is an okay substitute.
