A ridiculous sign!

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

I don’t understand this sign… what is the message?
If you ride snowmobile at night….going fast and it’s dark…. there are all those “risks”…. like coming up on Barb Wire fences, High Banks etc.. so they’re saying if your trail blazin’ at night- beware- it’s the Grim Reapers delight…
Oh it is all in the grim reaper’s t=shirts. To bad, at night, the snowmobilers will pass the sign so fast they will MISS the message. Good thing you chose the spring matt. Safety First….

My dad met Barb Wire one winter night back in the early ’70’s, while he was operating his green French snowmobile, called a Ski Roulle. Tore the fiberglass hood up, but he escaped with only minor bruising and scratches. He never went “trail blazin'” at night again.
“Barb Wire” sounds like one of the names from the Texas Roller Derby girls. ;-)
