This is a little different but I’ve seen similar “family plots” like this in other cemeteries. My ancestors have something similar in southern Ohio as well as one I saw in NY state. I like it.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.

My brother used to work with a guy whose name—honest to God—was John Rambo. He was born before the movie came out, and been named that. No lie.
it’s a curiosity how the family headstones are erected perpendicular to the individual foot stones…must give the groundskeepers a headache.
Good catch! It took a little while to figure out which row went with which headstone (to check if there was a John Rambo buried there).
