That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Could you imagine hitting that with you car..
Either that or he start to get fed up with the kids hitting that with a baseball bat..
Home Depot or the local store was out of Mailboxes one day and I built this…….
hmm..what is it missing. Nope classic rust makes it more awesome. Welcome to the list #35
Wow, no kid with a bat is going to take that one out! (probably get a broken arm if he tried…)
even snowplows will shy away, probably why the battleship design : )
I don’t know Matt, it looks like a hunk of junk someone welded together to make some kind of mailbox. It’s not that spectacular beauty wise to me. To me it’s just a pile of rusted junk to make some kind of make shift mailbox and to me it isn’t even that. I love your mailbox finds but I’m iffy on this one as to if it’s really awesome or just a hunk of junk.
I think this was made exclusively for ‘chain letters’.
Looking at flower, It’s awesome, It’s not awesome, it’s awesome, it’s not awesom….
What IS that cylindrical thing on top – the “mail box” portion?!?!?!?
When I look at it it reminds of an old Quaker Oats container!
I like it.
It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing of the awesome mailboxes, but it shows resourcefulness, and a certain kind of creativity.
Who knows? Maybe this is all that person had with which to work, and in that respect it is awesome.
way to dis the mail carrier …
Definitely the best of all of them!
I like it, just needs some paint!
