Day 93
My new landscape
June 27th, 2010
I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

From our perspective, it didn’t take long for it to change. Fortunately for you, you’ve had the last 93 days, and then some, to get in shape for this next leg (hee hee) of the trip.
Yet again, the animals are very curious about you, Matt, even from afar.

When I first saw this this morning, besides for it’s breathtaking beauty, my first response was “buffalo!”. Then upon further inspection all I have to say is “moo!”.

Hay Dorindo…I confess…samething (no coffee – due to watermain break) but I swear I saw a buffalo staring at me….I mean Matt…… So since in ND all we got was the big inanimate buffalo….hay Matt come on you got to see one or two of them, No??

That totally DOES look more “west-ish”! Moooooo!
Get ready…you will be seeing a LOT of cattle through this part of the country…

Yes, when I drove through Nebraska on my way to California there were huge cattle ranches. Good thing there isn’t smell-a-vision! Wow.
