That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the details of my trip
if you're so inclined.
Please stay away from the moose – I hear they can be ornery!
If YOU could see the MEESE – you could take a picture! Your followers appreciate black dots in the distance and have the imagination to imagine the black dots are MEESE! Oh well – I’m glad they were FAR AWAY from you Matt!
Those are NOT moose tracks Matt!! They are BEAR tracks !! RUN MATT RUN !!!!!!!!
Moose prints! Did Matt pack moose repellent?!
Look at those cute little prints! :)
Yeah, looks like a momma moose and her baby walking on her left side. Too cute!!!
Looks like maybe twins!
Matt Stay away from the Moose they have there Calf’s now and if you get to close they “WILL” attack you!!!
Big Scott, Thanks for all your information. I appreciate your picking up trash along the highway. I taught my kids to never, never throw trash out the window of the car. Of course this resulted in me having my purse full of garbage!!!! ha ha
anyway welcome to the Hobo Planet. I don’t post a lot , but I do check in every day. I didn’t realize how pretty Idaho was. I’ve been to Montana twice, but never to Idaho. Hopefully one day.
If you see a moose, shouldn’t you also look for a flying squirrel?
OMG…I just fell out of my chair laughing! Thanks for that great visual Andrew. :) Moose and Squirrel…imagine it…together again for a live action reunion show!
Yes – tell Bullwinkle and Rocky hello from us Matt!
The Flying Squirrels are in RVA now. http://flyingsquirrels.milbstore.com/store.cfm?store_id=85
Finally the respect we are do!!!
that was Rockey..
HAS ANYONE NOTICED HOW NARROW THIS ROAD IS, IT’S NOT EVEN WIDE AS OUR FARM TO MARKET ROADS, BUT THE BEAUTY OF THE AREA TELLS ALL.
Raymond – it is a paved path/trail. It’s not a “road” road.
Raymond – It seems like a very narrow “road” because it is actually a paved trail and bike path: Trail of the Cours d’Alenes. http://friendsofcdatrails.org/
weird that some of the photos on that link are the exact same as the ones matt has posted. hmmmmm.
So that’s what’s in that ice cream!
Candice…you crack me up!
I think the line is (this will test your age)…”I hate those meeses to pieces…”…and it wasn’t Rocky…
I’m in the 40″s club but I do know that and it’s funny! Thanks Jim for your addition on the word play of the day.
