There go my dinner plans

I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Thank goodness – no shooting! Hope the sign deters everyone from shooting anything and/or anyone (especially Matt!)!
But candice, as seen in the past…we know that many people shoot the signs too.
We can only hope….no shooting then.
It may have upset your dinner plans, Matt, but at least you won’t have to worry about dodging flying ammo!

So why aren’t those signs in high crime areas? I must write my congressman.
He/She will probably oblige…for a mere billion or two…or three…or four…and of course they will own the sign company…(sorry, not much faith in the system)…promise never to bring in political stuff again…
