Day 142
Another peaceful morning
August 15th, 2010
I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out. If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania. You can read all about the details of my trip if you're so inclined.

Such a beautiful song, Charlie, one can’t help but think of it when faced with sights such as this. So what if it’s been posted before? Maybe someone is just reading this for the first time, or viewed Day 131 before the multiple video postings on that day.

Yes peaceful part of the journey for sure.
There have been so many places on Matt’s journey that would have been difficult to leave just for the sheer beauty and wonder of them. This area definitely ranks high among them.
Gorgeous. I love the beauty of bodies of water. This is something else. No wonder so many people were excited for Matt to get to the Colombia River gorge area. Just amazing.
Is that a road down there? Looks like it’s almost IN the water. Looks like a scary ride to me, I’m such a chicken. Can’t ya hear me clucking? lol.
It must be incredible to be so high up and traveling west with this view. Peaceful indeed!
