I'm walking across America.
That's the idea, at least. I'm walking westward from New York City for nine months or so.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in Oregon when the clock runs out.
If nothing goes according to plan, maybe I'll end up in Peru or Mongolia or Pennsylvania.
You can read all about the

THE – MATT GREEN HOBO MUSEUM!
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
ARE YOU GREEN WITH ENVY?
fill in the blank.
Hi everybody..I have been following for months now but have never posted. I knew I had to now, especially since the end is near. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Matt (no I’m not shouting or mad I just want to make sure he hears me). I have loved reading what everybody has posted and I to have to have my daily fix of Matt’s journey and all the educational items everyone has talked about. Unfortunately I’m not able to come on the site from work. Yes I work for a lovely company that blocks certain websites and this happens to be one of them. I have to say that I to will be sad when he’s done but have enjoyed every minute of it….thank you again everybody and especially Matt for making a bunch of strangers come together and knowing we are still a great country with loving people.
Thanks Laura in TX and Welcome to the Hobo Planet! Glad you’ve been coming along although be it quietly you’ve still been here. Sounds like you’ve enjoyed this as much as everyone else has. I know I need my daily Matt fix! Will be a little lonely once he stops posting pictures. Hope he has more to post once he gets home. But for now we still have more to enjoy right here right now. Welcome again and glad you can come along for the walk!
Laura
Welcome to the HOBO PLANET. Glad you did post and tell your employer they are UnAmerican not letting you on this site at work. Just because they pay you does not mean you should not have fun at work!
Hope to see you post again. TEXAS-where everything is larger than life – or so I have heard.
I have an aunt who lives in Marble Falls, TX. It is close to San Antonio and Austin.
Laura, I’m glad you posted, it was nice to hear from you. Best wishes to you and any other posters in the Lone Star State.
Welcome Laura… glad you posted… isn’t it fun reading??? We’re all going to miss Matt’s walking journey…
Thanks y’all for the welcome.
I’m the type that sits back and watches and observes. Have enjoyed every moment…uh hours
I tried many of times to get on the blog during the day and all I get is a nasty gram saying I’m not allowed on this type of sites. What’s even funny about all this is that I’m in the Human Resource Dept and I should know better but this is as bad as craving coffee and I’m not even a coffee drinker.
Don I have heard of Marble Falls and what I’ve heard sounds very nice. I live outside of Dallas in a town/city named Garland. Love Austin though, more in my younger years than today. Austin has a lot of night life and young college kids. I’m a little older than that :)
How lucky are you that it’s open to the public!
